Note: Subsidy is available only for systems up to 3 kW for residential households. Systems above 3 kW receive ₹78,000 as the maximum subsidy cap. Additional state government subsidies may be available. Subsidy is disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the applicant’s bank account. Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply & What You Need
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Applicant must own a residential property.
- The residence should have a suitable rooftop for solar installation.
- A valid electricity connection is required.
- Applicants should not have availed of any other subsidy for solar panels
- The rooftop should be structurally suitable for installing solar panels.
How to Apply
Simple 4-Step Application Process

Register Online
Visit pmsuryaghar.gov.in and register using your electricity consumer number and Aadhaar. AUION can assist with registration.

Get DISCOM Approval
Submit your application for feasibility approval from your local electricity distribution company (DISCOM). We coordinate directly with the DISCOM on your behalf.

Our certified engineers conduct a free site survey, design the optimal system, and complete installation with all safety and quality checks.

Receive Subsidy
After net meter installation and inspection, submit commissioning documents. Subsidy is credited to your bank within 30 days.
